Mark
your calendars for Saturday, Aug 7, 2010 6:00PM. I need some talented folks to
show off their skills, some manly men to bake their delicious cakes for the church
fundraiser/and some willing participants for our own "Minute to Win It--- UU Style."
It is going to be a great evening and you will NOT want to miss it! To sign up
your act, contact Peggy at MWi799@aol.com or 685-0924.
Owensboro
PumpkinFest September 24, 25, 26 UUCO will have a "Pickles and Pumpkins" booth
at the Owensboro Pumpkinfest and we are starting to recruit volunteers now. We
will need people for set-up on Friday, all day Saturday, and from 12-6 on Sunday.
We also invite our member artists to share our booth- for more information on
the booth fee and booth-sharing OR if you are interested in assisting (We need
everyone to pull this one off!) please contact Lindsey Mattingly at lindsmattingly@
yahoo.com or 3132900.
Safe Congregation and insurance policies require that we have two adults in the
room with children. On Sunday mornings, one caregiver is our paid professional,
Julie, who is in charge of the room. The other adult is a volunteer who is merely
a second pair of eyes. If you have signed up to be that volunteer, please be sure
to mark you calendar and meet your commitment. Even if there are no children at
the time you arrive, we are counting on you to stay there for the promised time.
If you are unable to fulfill your commitment, please find a substitute before
Sunday morning and let Claudia know of the change. Thank you for your commitment
to our children! RE: Elizabeth 10:30: Lindsey
