Religious Education- Sundays 9:30 - 10:30
We
are developing a thriving progam for our youth RE group and are planning for a
youth minister in the near future. We also have a baby sitter available each week
during church services (10 AM - 12). Come join us.

Members
and friends of the congregation present lead these programs for our youth. The
sessions usually include reading material on the topic and discussing the material.
Arts, crafts, and snacks are usually a part of each program.

Members
and friends of the congregation usually lead these wide-ranging sessions. Some
of the programs are multi-part, but most are a single session. The atmosphere
is very casual with comments and discussion encouraged. Coffee and snacks are
provided. Here is a sample of recent programs-
"World Scriptures and Culture" a series by Dr. Tony Lee that includes: Ancient
Egyptian; Taoism: Chang Tzu; Pre-Columbian: Popol Vuh (Axtec religious epic);
Chinese Literature and Culture; Confucianism; Buddhism, etc.
"Bible
Study" 20-week series on Genesis & Creation literature, Wisdom literature, Thessalonians,
James, & methods of scholarly research
"Spirituality
in American History" 3 parts
"Witness For Peace- Columbia, Nicaragua, and Cuba" 3 parts
"Theatre
and Spirituality"

of Other Religious Faiths
